Eccho Rights recruits Melis Hamamcioglu as acquisition, sales exec in London

Scandinavia-based distributor Eccho Rights has appointed Melis Hamamcioglu as director of digital media acquisition and content sales.

Hamamcioglu joins Eccho Rights from Calinos Entertainment, where she had been international content sales director for the past three-and-a-half years.

Prior to that, she held various sales and acquisitions roles at Fox Networks Group and Digiturk (now beIN). Hamamcioglu will work from Eccho’s London office, which opened in 2021.

At Eccho Rights, in addition to managing sales of the company’s full catalogue in MENA, Israel and India, Hamamcioglu will handle Turkish drama sales in Western Europe. She is also taking on a newly created position, acquiring content specifically for digital platforms.
