Air New Zealand acquired S3 of Moontide Fishing

EBS in Korea and Discovery Networks Asia Pacific are among the latest broadcasters to have acquired factual programming from Hong Kong-based Harbour Rights.

EBS has picked up wildlife content including three 52-minutes episode of Animal Destinies (A Lion’s Life, The Loneliness of the Leopard and The Three Little Warthogs) and Nature Sanctuaries (Wild Winter in Japan, Wild Tropical Australia and Wild Namibia).

Discovery Networks Asia Pacific has taken a slate of gastronomy and travel shows, including the new season of Singapore-set Belly of a Nation (2×52’), the two latest episodes of Masters of Savours (Masters of Lemon and Masters of Tofu, 2×52’) and an episode of the Flavors series, Gulf of Siam: Thai Coastal Beauty (1×52’).

Additionally, Chinese broadcaster Phoenix TV has acquired science series Exodus (3×52‘), which goes behind the scenes at Nasa’s Artemis space programme.

Elsewhere in the aviation genre, Oman Air has licensed episodes one and two of Korean action-comedy Salon De Holmes and the first episode of Chinese period drama Legend of Magnate, while Air New Zealand has acquired S3 of factual series Moontide Fishing (13×26’).

American Airlines, meanwhile, has picked up wildlife series Panda Kingdom (3×52’), while Royal Jet has acquired one ep of food series Asia: Sushi (1×30’), doc Masters of Tea (1×52’) and TV movie Looking for Barcelona (1×52’).

In related news, Harbour Rights has acquired the distribution rights to Malaysian prodco Happy Campers’ Tribal Kitchen (6×26’), which looks into the lives and evolving culture of Malaysia’s indigenous people, told through their food and communities.
