Colin From Accounts producer Easy Tiger Productions in Australia has secured TV rights to Dervla McTiernan’s psychological thriller novel Three Reasons for Revenge.

Shaun Grant (The Narrow Road to the Deep North) will write the screenplay of the adaptation, the deal for which was negotiated by Dan Conaway and Tom Ishizuka for Writers House during what Easy Tiger called a “heated auction.”

Published in 2026, Three Reasons for Revenge went straight to number one in the Australian bestseller charts across all genres.

A high-stakes thriller, it tells the story of three seemingly unconnected people caught in a lethal web of deceit and unhealed wounds.

McTiernan is the author of seven novels and her books have sold over one million copies. Born in Ireland, McTiernan and her family relocated to Perth, Western Australia in the wake of the global financial crisis in 2008.
