Corus’s Slice lands linear rights to The Daily Show

NEWS BRIEF: Corus Entertainment-owned cable channel Slice has acquired the Canadian linear rights to American late-night staple The Daily Show.

The Comedy Central show will launch on Slice on September 9 and will also be available through Corus-owned streaming service StackTV. The Daily Show, which is being hosted once a week by former full-time host Jon Stewart in the run-up to the US presidential election, also streams on Paramount+ in Canada.
