Sabine-Singh will lead the company’s push to expand Chatterbox’s engagement with SVoDs and broadcasters worldwide as well as building upon their existing success with UK networks.

Sabine-Singh has worked at Chatterbox since 2020. She takes up the newly created role on Monday August 22, joining the senior management team of co-founders and creative directors Ali Quirk and Nav Raman, and recently announced head of production Rosie Taylor.

Quirk, to whom Sabine-Singh will report, said: “Ellie is one of the industry’s rising stars. Having her move into the strategic role of head of development is a no-brainer following the brilliant contribution she has made during her time at the company. We are thrilled to have seen her grow into a key member of the team. Her talent for understanding young and diverse audiences is a great asset for us, helping to ensure we are producing compelling content for as wide a demographic as possible.”

During her time at Chatterbox, Sabine-Singh has worked as producer and development producer across a slate of projects for Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5, including Charlotte in Sunderland and Extraordinary Portraits with Tinie.

Her production credits include Charlotte in Sunderland (BBC Three), Extraordinary Portraits with Tinie (BBC One), Words First: Poetry as Protest (BBC Arts Digital), Sally Lindsay’s Posh Sleepover (Channel 5) and both series of the hit show Meet The Khans (BBC Three).

Previously, Sabine-Singh worked at MTV International as digital video producer and development producer, where she was responsible for developing and producing MTV originals, movie junkets, music and social responsibility content, as well as supporting the launch of MTV UK’s TikTok.

Chatterbox was founded in 2017 by former Channel 4 commissioner Nav Raman and popular factual series producer Ali Quirk.
