Roku Media boss Charlier Collier and Tubi head Anjali Sud are both exiting their roles following the completion of Fox Corporation’s US$22bn acquisition of Roku.

Collier, who served as president of Roku Media, had been at the company for four years after previously leading Fox Entertainment as CEO.

Sud, meanwhile, who has been CEO of Fox-owned AVoD platform Tubi for more than three years, is taking a new job outside of the company. Her next moves have not yet been revealed, though she will remain with the company in the short term to help with the transition.

With Sud’s departure, Pete Distad, who led the launch of Fox One, will assume oversight of Tubi and Roku-owned streamer Frndly TV, while Mike Bidgoli has been promoted to Tubi president.

In addition, Frndly TV co-founder and CEO Andy Karofsky will join Distad’s team, while The Roku Channel’s head of content Lisa Holme will also report to Distad, working closely with Tubi’s longtime content head Adam Lewinson.

Earlier in the day, it was revealed that Roku founder Anthony Wood would join Fox’s board and become co-chair of the newly created Fox Digital Platforms division, alongside Paul Cheesbrough, who will serve as co-chair and CEO.
