Channel 5 keeps Eggheads on the boil

Eggheads aired on BBC2 before switching to Channel 5

NEWS BRIEF: ViacomCBS-owned UK terrestrial Channel 5 has renewed its classic quizshow Eggheads for another season, produced by 12 Yard Productions.

The show originally aired for 18 years and 21 seasons on rival terrestrial BBC2 before switching to Channel 5 at the start of 2021. Hosted by Jeremy Vine, the show sees teams take on some of Britain’s most experienced quizzers. The broadcaster has upped its order from 40 episodes to 60 for its second season.
