Channel 4, Fox Nation pick up two-part docuseries The Amazon Review Killer

UK pubcaster Channel 4 and Fox News Media’s streaming service Fox Nation in the US have picked up two-part docuseries The Amazon Review Killer.

Fox Nation has acquired the 2×60’ series for premiere on the service tonight, while Channel 4 has pre-bought it for November.

The Amazon Review Killer is produced by Manchester-based Enderley Pictures and distributed by Off the Fence. The programme focuses on American man Todd Kohlhepp, whose 13-year-long killing spree was uncovered after investigators followed a ‘digital breadcrumb trail’ of 140 Amazon reviews.

Kohlhepp’s penchant for reviewing his weapons — from folding shovels to chainsaws — serves as the focal point of the docuseries, connecting the trail of seemingly unrelated murders. The series also uses archive material, bodycam footage and testimonies from detectives, lawyers, criminal psychologists and the families of Kohlepp’s victims and survivors.
