Carlotta Rossi Spencer sets up Impeto Media after leaving Banijay

Carlotta Rossi Spencer has set up her own company after recently exiting European production and distribution giant Banijay, where she was head of branded entertainment business development.

London- and Milan-based Rossi Spencer has formed Impeto Media to focus on business development across different arenas.

These are entertainment, including content and branded entertainment; digital and creators; as well as what Rossi Spencer describes as “new frontiers,” such as bioscience.

Previously Banijay’s head of format acquisitions, Rossi Spencer took up the newly created role of head of branded content business development at Banijay in 2022. She went on to head up the dedicated division to spearhead the production and distribution giant’s branded content activity when it was launched in late 2023.

Prior to joining Banijay in 2014, Rossi Spencer held several roles in research and development, having begun her career in journalism and communications. Her departure from Banijay was first reported by Broadcast International.
