As head of unscripted content, she will now lead a dedicated team within the department headed up by Jean-Marc Juramie, deputy CEO of Canal+ France in charge of programmes and channels.

Folloroux will be tasked with accelerating the identification, development and roll-out of entertainment formats across the group’s various markets.

Meanwhile, Canal+ and in-house studio and distributor StudioCanal will launch the second season of South African crime drama Spinners at the end of October.

The second run will air across more than 45 countries, spanning French-, English- and Portuguese-speaking Africa, France, overseas territories and Europe.

The series is a coproduction between MultiChoice’s African streaming service Showmax and Canal+, produced by Federation MEAC and Natives at Large.
