BBC Studios to launch BBC Kids service on KT Corp’s Genie TV Kids Land in Korea

Hey Duggee will be among the shows on offer

BBC Studios is launching a BBC Kids monthly subscription service on KT Corp in Korea’s IPTV platform Genie TV Kids Land.

BBC Kids, which is being brought to Korea via BBC Studios Asia, will feature a mix of content in the English language and shows dubbed into Korean.

More than 300 episodes will be available from series including preschool animation Hey Duggee, live-action factual show Andy’s Global Adventures, English vocabulary-learning series Yakka Dee, cooking show My World Kitchen and animated series Go Jetters and Sarah & Duck.

Genie TV subscribers will be able to access BBC Kids for KRW5,000 (US$3.70) per month.
