BBC Select, SVT, Al Jazeera among networks to shop at Woodcut International

Woodcut International’s World War II: Women on the Frontline

BBC Studios-owned BBC Select in the US and Canada, Sweden’s SVT and Al Jazeera in the Middle East are among the latest networks to pick up factual content from Woodcut International in the UK.

BBC Select has acquired a package of over 20 hours of programming, including World War II: Women on the Frontline, A Royal Guide to…, (K)nox: The Rob Knox Story, The Man Who Took Shannon Matthews and Forgotten War Stories.

Also in the US, MagellanTV has picked up 38 hours of content that includes Football: A Brief History by Alfie Allen, The Underground Army and Murder Casebook, while Blue Ant Media in Canada has bought Murder Casebook.

SVT, meanwhile, has picked up World War II: Women on the Frontline, as has Viasat World in Poland, Scandinavia and the CEE region.

Elsewhere in Europe, Italy’s La7 has acquired season one of A Royal Guide to…, while streamer Dox TV in Hungary has picked up 58 hours of programming including Surviving a Serial Killer, How I Caught the Killer, (K)nox: The Rob Knox Story and The Underground Army.

Al Jazeera has acquired Forgotten War Stories, while specialist arts streamer Marquee TV in the US and UK has picked up filmed theatrical productions Touching the Void and Wuthering Heights.
