BBC charts The Rise of the Rockstar Chef in Studio Ramsay docuseries

UK pubcaster the BBC has commissioned a three-part series charting the rise of three of Britain’s most influential culinary figures: Marco Pierre White, Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal.

Produced by Ramsay’s prodco Studio Ramsay Global for BBC One and iPlayer, The Rise of the Rockstar Chef explores how the three chefs’ unwavering ambition and intense rivalry reshaped Britain’s restaurant industry, placing modern British cuisine on the global stage.

Featuring testimony from the trio themselves, as well as those who witnessed the fights, fall-outs and feuds first-hand – including renowned food critics, maîtres d’ and former commis chefs – the three-parter culminates in an on-screen reunion that brings the three chefs together for the first time in decades.

Zoë Dobson is series director and producer, with Studio Ramsay’s chief creative officer Lisa Edwards exec producing alongside Amanda Westwood. Studio Ramsay’s production executive Jess Holder is the executive in charge of production, while Emma Pinching is line producer.

Fox Entertainment Global will distribute the series internationally.
