Banijay focuses on family for Mipcom

Banijay Group has unveiled its slate for Mipcom 2019 with family-oriented titles designed to encourage co-viewing, including Don’t and The Crystal Maze.


First in the line-up is Don’t, a new family competition series executive produced by Ryan Reynolds and presented by Adam Scott. The show will force families to follow a simple rule – don’t – in a series of challenges for a cash prize. ABC has already picked up the show in the US.

Additionally, classic physical entertainment show It’s a Knockout is returning in a new modernised version, which Banijay will distribute in Cannes.

Also with a spot on the slate is competition format The Crystal Maze. The series returns to market with a family twist, as families will compete through the four key zones, Eastern, Aztec, Industrial and Futuristic, to take part in the final challenge in The Crystal Dome.

Meanwhile, completing Banijay’s line-up for Mipcom is the Danish programme All Against 1. The competition series features a single contestant competing against all the participating viewers to answer a series of questions.
