Australia’s Nine adds BBC News FAST channel to its 9Now platform

Australian network Nine network has renewed its content deal with the BBC and is launching a new BBC News free advertising supported TV (FAST) channel.

Nine’s long-standing partnership with BBC Studios now extends to live content, offering 24-hour access to BBC News on the broadcaster’s catch-up platform 9Now. The BBC News service is anchored from the UK, US and Singapore and includes World News America, Newsnight, Business Today, NYSE – Opening Bell and The Travel Show.

The news channel joins 9Now’s existing portfolio of BBC FAST channels, which includes BBC Comedy, BBC Food, BBC Home & Garden, Top Gear and Antiques Roadshow.
