Armoza Formats’ Family Piggy Bank goes to market in Portugal and Greece

Producers in Portugal and Greece are working on local versions of Armoza Formats‘ CGI-based studio gameshow Family Piggy Bank.

Fremantle in Portugal and Silverline Media Productions in Greece have taken the local rights to the format, which was first produced by ITV Studios-owned Armoza Formats and Gamechanger’s Nimrod Harel and Yaron Yashinsky.

The show aims to bring the unique dynamic of a family dinner to the studio by putting one family’s knowledge and trust in each other to the test as they work together to try to earn money by answering trivia questions.

Using CGI, the format comes with a technological hub to create what Armoza Formats calls “a primetime shiny-floor studio, virtual gameplay movements and even a virtual audience.”

Nick Kalis, CEO of Silverline Media Productions, said the format had “outstanding production value and low costs.”
