Amazon alum Christine Molinares resurfaces to launch advisory outfit Bremer Vision

Veteran media executive Christine Molinares has set up her own strategic media advisory firm based in Miami, having left Amazon-owned Prime Video in June.

Christine Molinares

Molinares, a senior programming manager at Prime Video in Latin America for four years, formed Bremer Vision Group (BVG) to work with producers, content owners, talent and companies as they try to navigate the increasingly fragmented media landscape.

Upon leaving Prime Video, Molinares suggested her next move would involve combining artificial intelligence tools with her decades of programming experience to strategically evaluate projects and pitch materials.

Molinares holds an executive certificate in AI from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is also a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

As well as project assessment and market readiness, BVG will work across distribution to support content owners seeking licensing and sales opportunities world wide. She is looking to work with clients across the US, Latin America and other international markets.

“There is more content, more data and more ways to reach audiences than ever before, but that doesn’t necessarily make the decisions easier,” Molinares told C21.

“Bremer Vision Group is about creating clarity and helping companies and creators understand what they have, who it’s for, where the opportunity lies and what needs to happen to move it forward,” added Molinares.

Prior to Prime Video, Molinares spent three-and-a-half years as senior director of programming strategy at Univision Communications’ US Spanish-language free-to-air television network UniMás.

Before that she was director programming strategy for kids and family brands at Viacom International Media Networks and senior manager of programming strategy at America Movil subsidiary DLA TV.

She has also held roles at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Warner Bros Entertainment and Discovery Communications during a career in the industry spanning three decades in operations, acquisitions, production and programming.
