ADM preps Twofour Arabia series

Abu Dhabi Media (ADM) has given details of the factual slate it has commissioned from Twofour Arabia ahead of the relaunch of its Abu Dhabi TV Network next month.

The Arabic-language factual content includes documentary series The Story of Abu Dhabi (13×60′) and Top Ten: Abu Dhabi (13×60′). The former explores the rapid change seen across the emirate in modern times, while the latter provides a rundown of its architecture, landscapes, hotels and restaurants.

Elsewhere, The Goodness of Our Land (6×60′) focuses on the United Arab Emirates’ farming community and its use of technology to overcome searing temperatures and rare rainfall.

Observational documentary Zoo Diaries (13×60′), meanwhile, secures unprecedented access to a local zoo, and competitive cookery format Chef Needed (13×60′) follows aspiring chefs in popular restaurants. The executive producers are Jonney Steven, Reem Nouss and Yara Awad, and the production exec is Rosie Kingham.

The channel is set to relaunch on December 2. The commissions form part of a long-term partnership between the two companies.

Twofour Arabia is the Abu Dhabi arm of UK indie Twofour Group.
