National Geographic Content’s Tom McDonald, Skydance’s Jason Sarlanis, BET Studios’ Aisha Summers-Burke and WNET’s Stephen Segaller are set to join the North American Hitmakers strand at Content Americas, as the events extends its remit into the US market.

Content Americas 2027 takes place January 18-21 at the Hilton Miami Downtown. Register at the EARLYBIRD RATE of US$750 – saving 42% on the full delegate rate – by CLICKING HERE.

With the launch of the North American Hitmakers, Content Americas is set to bring the North American business into focus, connecting key players with the Lat Am market and international content community.

The strand will showcase the content strategies and routes to coproduction of a raft of influential US producers, commissioners, buyers and financiers.

C21’s editor-in-chief & managing director, David Jenkinson said: “Content Americas is now THE must-attend market for the Lat Am and Hispanic entertainment business, but welcoming the US market onto the schedule sees the event extend into the American content business. The fact that NATPE, Realscreen and Kidscreen conferences have now closed means there is demand to unite a broader community, and Content Americas is rising to that challenge. This year is the first step, but future editions will see more integration of the US entertainment business, together and more international delegates attend.”

The wider Content Americas 2027 agenda includes the D2C Entertainment Summit, with strategies for moving to direct-to-consumer, audience-first models, the third Vertical and Shortform Summit, designed to bring buyers and commissioners from the sector together with content partners and Content Strategies, where leading Latin American and US Hispanic buyers and commissioners will outline their upcoming priorities and opportunities for collaboration.
