IWC is making World’s Greatest War Ships

Viacom-owned UK terrestrial network Channel 5 has commissioned a docuseries about warships from Banijay Group-owned prodco IWC.

World’s Greatest War Ships (3×60’) tells the stories of famous warships from 1900 to the present day and will look into the engineering feats behind the vessels.

The show is executive produced by Dominic Bowles from IWC and is scheduled to air later this year. Banijay Rights will distribute internationally.

It follows a spate of history doc orders from C5 earlier this month as the channel ramps up its factual content.
