Sharon Levy exiting as CEO of Endemol Shine North America

Sharon Levy is leaving her role as CEO of Endemol Shine North America (ESNA).

The veteran unscripted exec has been with the company, which sits inside Banijay Americas, for nine years.

Her departure comes after ESNA’s parent company Banijay completed its merger with All3Media over the summer. After the deal closed in July, it was confirmed that Ben Samek would lead the North American operation as CEO of Banijay Americas.

Levy left US network Spike in 2017 to become ESNA’s president of unscripted and scripted. In early 2021, she was later promoted to chief content officer before named CEO in 2023.

During her tenure, the company has produced shows including Deal or No Deal Island, Fear Factor: House of Fear, Lego Masters and the US version of MasterChef.

“Sharon has played an integral role in building ESNA into the creative powerhouse it is today, and her influence has been felt across Banijay America and the wider Banijay group,” said a Banijay Americas spokesperson.

“She has built a varied and healthy slate of titles that continue to thrive year over year, spanning global franchises, creative IP extensions and scripted hits. We are deeply grateful for her leadership and vision, and on behalf of our colleagues globally, we wish her every success in the next chapter of her career.”
