Romania’s Pro TV adapts Turkish drama series Kaçak

Fără Urmă (Without a Trace)

Romanian broadcaster Pro TV has adapted Turkish thriller series Kaçak for local audiences.

Originally produced by Süreç Film for ATV in Turkey, Kaçak follows a policeman who kills the son of a ruthless mafia boss and is forced to build a new identity in a quiet town, until an act of heroism exposes him and drags him back into a war with his past.

Pro TV’s adaptation, titled Fără Urmă (Without a Trace), transposes the story to a remote Transylvanian mountain village, where a man lives a peaceful life with his family until a buried past resurfaces, forcing him to confront a powerful and corrupt family to protect those he loves.

The series airs on Pro TV weekly on Mondays and is available for streaming on Voyo. Distributed by Eccho Rights, it is the third Turkish drama it has sold to Pro TV, following Ezel, locally named as Vlad, and Içerde (Insider), which was retitled as Clanul (The Clan).
