WWE gets Raw deal in Brazil

Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is taking its flagship grapple-fest WWE Raw to Brazilian free-TV from next month.

WWE, which has recently secured long-term output deals with broadcast partners in Germany and Russia, has now struck a pact with Brazil’s Esporte Interativo, bringing WWE Raw to 33 million households in the country.

The company last month signed a deal with Warner Bros-owned Shed Media US for the revival of its reality show WWE Tough Enough, greenlit by USA Network.
