Wong to exit SPT

Andrea Wong, president of international production at Sony Pictures Television (SPT), is leaving after just over five years at the company.

London-based Wong, who is also president of international for Sony Pictures Entertainment, has overseen SPT’s push into global drama in recent years.

Since taking a US$64m stake in The Crown producer Left Bank in 2012, the US studio has also invested in companies such as London-based Blueprint Television and Fable Pictures, plus Swedish prodco Palladium Fiction.

Wong joined SPT in 2011 from US cablenet Lifetime Networks. News of her departure was first reported by Deadline.
