TF1 takes on Cyber criminals

French broadcaster TF1 has acquired free-to-air broadcast rights to CSI: Cyber, the latest instalment in the hit CBS forensic crime franchise.

TF1 has been the French home of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation since 2001 so the pick-up of the latest spin-off via CBS Studios International comes as no surprise.

CSI: Cyber stars Patricia Arquette as a cyber-psychologist who tracks crimes that start in the mind, live online and play out in the real world and was inspired by real life protagonist Mary Aiken.

It is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television and distributed globally by CBS Studios International.

The series is exec produced by Carol Mendelsohn, Ann Donahue, Anthony Zuiker, Pam Veasey, Jerry Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman.
