Shudder bags Nordic noir exclusive

Jordskott’s second season is in production

AMC Networks-backed horror streaming service Shudder has pre-bought the North American rights to new episodes of a Swedish drama from ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

Season two of Jordskott, currently in production with Swedish broadcaster SVT, Stockholm-based Palladium Fiction and London’s Pinewood Television, will be available exclusively via Shudder in North America in 2018.

Meanwhile, the first two episodes of the show’s first season, which follows the disappearance of a child in the small community of Silverhöjd, will begin streaming on Shudder in North America on April 6. Two new episodes will premiere each week on the streamer thereafter.
