Rai puts on PJ Masks

PJ Masks is based on picture book series Les Pyjamasques

Rai in Italy has acquired Entertainment One (eOne)’s animated preschool show PJ Masks.

The series will begin airing on free-to-air channel Rai Yoyo this month, having made its debut on pay TV with Disney in January.

The series is adapted from French author Romuald Racioppo’s picture book series Les Pyjamasques and follows the exploits of a group of young friends who transform into superheroes when they put on their pyjamas.

It is produced by eOne and eOne Family MD Oliver Dumont’s kids’ company Frog Box, in collaboration with Disney Junior and France 5. It was commissioned for a second season in June.
