Nova adds fitness to Life channel

Fledgling Greek lifestyle channel NovaLife has acquired a 60-hour package of content from French producer and distributor Prime Entertainment Group.

Fitness First Class (60×60’) has been picked up by the female-skewing channel, which was launched recently alongside the Nova Cinema and Nova Sports channels that have operated in Greece since 1994.

The series features work-outs and fitness demonstrations carried out in locations including Camps Bay in South Africa, the Riviera in Croatia and a luxury resort on the Greek island of Crete.
The deal comes as Prime Entertainment has increased its lifestyle and fitness catalogue by four times since early 2013, according to MD David Freydt.
