Deal or No Deal revived in Philippines and Turkey by ABS-CBN, ATV Turkiyë

Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal aired on on ABS-CBN up to 2016

Classic gameshow format Deal or No Deal is to add two new international adaptations in the Philippines and Turkey.

The format is being revived this month in the Philippines on ABS-CBN and also making it debut on Turkish national broadcaster ATV Turkiyë. Both shows are produced in-house.

A Banijay Entertainment format, Deal or No Deal launched in 2002 in the Netherlands before being adapted in the UK for Channel 4 in 2005. Banijay Rights distributes the show globally.

In the Philippines, the show originally aired as Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal on ABS-CBN, running for more than 870 episodes between 2006 and 2016. In Turkey, the format was first adapted as Var mısın? Yok musun?, airing for about 350 episodes from 2007 to 2010 across multiple seasons.

The brand has undergone something of a revival recently with versions live in 13 territories, including the UK and Australia, where it was recently revived on ITV and Network Ten respectively.
