Little Airplane flies into China

New York-based Little Airplane Productions has teamed up with a Chinese production partner to create a new animated series called P.King Duckling.

Little Airplane is working with UYoung Animation on the 52×11′ series, which is targeted at older preschoolers and follows the adventures of an intrepid but slightly hapless duck on his travels around the world.

The series was created by Little Airplane’s president, Josh Selig, and has an educational curriculum created by Dr Christine Ricci (Dora The Explorer), with music composed by Little Airplane’s musical director Jeffrey Lesser (Wonder Pets).

It’s the second time Little Airplane has linked up with Asian partners, after it joined companies in South Korea and China to coproduce the preschool toon Super Wings!, which has recently been picked up by broadcasters such as SVT in Sweden and EBS in Korea.
