Italian net cracks Red Arrow’s Code

An Italian broadcaster has picked up rights to US-Scandinavian crime thriller series 100 Code from distributor Red Arrow International.

Commercial broadcaster Mediaset will air the 12×60′ show, which launched on Sky Germany and HBO Nordic earlier this year.

The thriller was developed by Red Arrow Entertainment’s LA-based scripted arm Fabrik Entertainment (The Killing) and Academy Award-winner Bobby Moresco (Crash, Million Dollar Baby), who also directs several episodes.

It is produced by 100 Code AB and Zen Productions (The Bible Code) for SBS Discovery-owned Swedish net Kanal 5.

100 Code is set in Sweden with a largely Swedish cast headed by Michael Nyqvist (The Millennium Series). Dominic Monaghan (Lost) plays an NYPD detective helping Stockholm’s police investigate a string of deaths.
