Int’l nets do business with Buffett

Broadcasters in Europe, Asia and the Middle East have acquired an animated series from US businessman Warren Buffett, produced by Andy Heyward’s LA-based production outfit.

MTV3 in Finland, Medicacorp in Singapore and Israel’s Imagine Media, which operates kids’ channel Zoom, have all picked up Secret Millionaires Club (26×30′), following in the footsteps of Discovery Kids Asia and Gloob in Brazil.

The series, which airs in the US on the soon-to-rebranded Hub Network, features a group of kids who have adventures in business under the guidance of Buffett, who helped create the show.

Produced by Heyward’s Genius Brands International, the toon aims to make it fun for kids to learn to think like entrepreneurs and features guest talent including Bill Gates, Jay-Z and Shaquille O’Neal.
