Imira takes off with Tom Turbo

Spanish producer and distributor Imira Entertainment has picked up worldwide rights, excluding Austria and China, to live-action series Tom Turbo (188×26′).

The show is based on a series of books by Austrian author Thomas Brezina and aired originally on Austrian public broadcaster ORF and Nickelodeon in Germany.

Imira has also acquired Tom Turbo: The Movie (1×82′), alongside the Latin American rights to animated film The Turboosters (1×70′) and Latin American and Italian rights to animated series YooHoo & Friends (52×11′).

YooHoo & Friends was created by South Korean-firm Aurora World Corp to educate children about protection and preservation of the environment.
