Imagina installs Tanin’s Money Pump

Spanish distributor Imagina International Sales, part of the Mediapro Group, has picked up the rights to a gameshow from Israel’s Tanin Productions.

The agreement for the rights to Money Pump was brokered by Matan Alaluf, international marketing director at Tanin, and Beatriz Setuain, head of Imagina.

Money Pump has been broadcast in Israel, Peru, Vietnam and Russia. The primetime format features two contestants working together to answer trivia questions correctly to stop prize money being sucked away by a pump.

“We are glad to have Mediapro as the international distributor of our successful gameshow Money Pump and trust them to lead the format to new territories,” said Alaluf.

Last year, Tanin signed a separate deal with Spanish prodco El Terrat to develop unscripted formats for the domestic and global markets.
