ID renews McFadden crime show

Investigation Discovery is extending its true crime output after ordering a second season of a show following the life of an unorthodox US detective.

I Am Homicide follows local detective Garry McFadden working in the US city of Charlotte as he uses unusual techniques to track down suspects and follow up leads.

The one-hour series, which will return in the second quarter of 2017, is produced by US prodco Blackfin, with Geno McDermott, Alexa Conway, Patrick Conway serving as exec producers.
