Hulu wants Mohr gamer

US video streamer Hulu has extended its male-skewing original gameshow hosted by comedian Jay Mohr into a second season.

Money Where Your Mouth Is is produced by US-based content firm Believe Entertainment Group and sees lifelong friends wager their most prized possessions as they answer a series of trivia questions.

The second season is available on Hulu and Hulu Plus and has been executive produced by Dan Goodman, William H Masterson III and Danny Fishman, along with Lowell Mate, Barry Katz and Mohr.

Believe, which is financing, selling and distributing Money Where Your Mouth Is internationally, has previously produced shortform content including The LeBrons, an original animated series starring LeBron James that is available on Xbox.

UK commercial broadcaster ITV recently invested an undisclosed amount in the US online content company in September.

Dan Goodman, co-founder at Believe, said: “With Money and our other shows, we’ve turned a corner from one-off projects to developing long-term content platforms and building something that will endure.”
