Hoho has joined forces with TotallyTween, the website launched by former BBC Worldwide senior VP of marketing Clare Vincent, to create Mimi & Bibi (26×2′).

The show is aimed at eight- to 10-year-olds and follows two twin sisters who couldn’t be more different: one is the quintessential good girl while the other is a rebel without a cause.

TotallyTween launched on March 27 in the UK and is an online community where young girls can discuss topics such as film, music, books and TV.

Each episode of Mimi & Bibi will be the result of input and interaction from the site’s audience. Hoho Rights, the sales arm of Hoho Entertainment, will sell the show globally.

“TotallyTween will help build the Mimi & Bibi brand by showcasing it to our tween audience, who will help shape the concept,” said Vincent.

Hoho co-founder Oliver Ellis added: “Our audience will then be able to see the end result and know that its voice is genuine and authentic. It’s direct, it’s digital and it’s daring.”
