Go90 adds Rated Red content

Verizon’s OTT platform Go90 will launch five shows produced by Rated Red, the multi-platform digital channel aimed at US millennials from the ‘heartland’ states, this summer.

The series include Breaking Bass (16×11′), which follows two young fishermen as they explore lake towns around the US in search of the biggest bass. Ace of Cakes producer Authentic Entertainment, part of the Endemol Shine Group, is behind the series.

Gnarkatz (24×9′), from Graden Media, charts the exploits of actor, entrepreneur and skateboarder Bo Mitchell and his crew as they attempt skating tricks and pull off hazardous pranks and feats.

American Down Low (40×9′), from Hit + Run, explores various US subcultures, from a competitive ice racing league on the frozen lakes of Wisconsin to mixed martial arts fighters who train on a secret farm in North Carolina.

Scripted series Boonies (12×10′), from Kids at Play, is set in Boone, Texas, and follows five former childhood best friends who embark on a treasure hunt inside the haunted halls of a high school.

Finally, For the Win (24×9′) features social media star Brodie Smith on a road trip exploring unusual destinations and trying out unconventional sports around the US. It is produced by US indie Astronauts Wanted.

Rated Red is owned by Complex Networks, a joint venture between Verizon and Hearst.
