Fox Asia adds family films

Jessica Darling’s It List

Fox Networks Group Asia has acquired four family movies from US-based distribution and production outfit MarVista Entertainment.

Jessica Darling’s It List, Annabelle Hooper & the Ghosts of Nantucket, Raising the Bar and The Soccer Nanny will air throughout Asia on Fox Family Movies following the deal.

Jessica Darling’s It List is based on the book of the same name by New York Times best-selling author Megan McCafferty and stars actor/model Chloe East as a smart, witty, opinionated girl heading into seventh grade.

Annabelle Hooper & the Ghosts of Nantucket follows a group of friends as they investigate a 200-year-old mystery uncovered by their 15-year-old aspiring novelist pal Annabelle Hooper.

Raising the Bar, meanwhile, centres on a US teenager who moves to Australia to get away from her high-pressure life as a gymnast, only to be drawn back into the world of competitive gymnastics down under.

Finally, The Soccer Nanny follows a widow who hires a Norwegian soccer player to work as a nanny for her two sons.
