Ex-SBS exec gets together with Dave

NEWS BRIEF: SBS Broadcasting’s former senior VP of Europe Douglas Fulton has been made president of entertainment at Dave Networks, a California-based IPTV company that counts Discovery and Here! among its partners.

Fulton, who joins Dave from another IPTV specialist, JumpTV, will aim to strike partnerships with studios, broadcasters and independent producers in order to expand the content available via the Dave.tv network.

Aside from relationships with Discovery and Here!, Dave Networks said it has a number of content deals in the pipeline and is actively pushing its white-label peer-to-peer online distribution capabilities to companies around the world interested in launching own-branded services.
