DRG’s Cundall heads to eOne

Entertainment One has appointed UK distributor DRG’s senior VP of acquisitions to work across its scripted and non-scripted programming acquisitions.

London-based Kate Cundall has been named VP of acquisitions at eOne, where she will report to executive VP of acquisitions Noel Hedges, her former DRG colleague who joined eOne a year ago.

During her time at DRG, Cundall commissioned and acquired more than 350 hours of content for international distribution. Cundall has previously held roles at Eyeworks International Distribution in LA and at BSkyB Entertainment, Underground Films, Sprout Pictures and Channel 4.

Transatlantic producer and distributor eOne’s rights library includes more than 80,000 hours of film and television content.

Its slate of TV programming includes Jean Marc Vallée’s HBO drama Sharp Objects, which premieres on July 8 and stars Amy Adams, and The Rookie, starring Nathan Fillion, which will air on ABC this year.
