DreamWorks Channel grows in Asia

DreamWorks Animation (DWA) has partnered with an Indonesian cable TV provider to continue the roll-out of its first branded TV network in Asia.

DreamWorks Channel has launched in Indonesia via Telekomunikasi and follows launches in Thailand and Malaysia in 2015 and Singapore and Hong Kong more recently.

Claiming to feature more original content than any other kids’ channel in Asia, the network is now available to all Telekomunikasi’s IndiHome triple-play subscribers.

Its initial line-up will include DWA-produced series such as Dragons: Race to the Edge and Dinotrux.

Other series due to join the schedule include All Hail King Julien, The Adventures of Puss in Boots, Dawn of the Croods and The Mr Peabody & Sherman Show.

The channel will also present a daily morning preschool block, DreamWorks Junior, featuring series such as Raa Raa The Noisy Lion and Guess with Jess.
