Digimon travels the world

Spanish and Latin American broadcasters have picked up Digimon Fusion, the latest instalment in the Japanese animé franchise.

Clan TV in Spain and Cartoon Network Latin America will air the 30×30′ sixth season of Digimon following a deal with its owner Saban Brands and distributor MarVista Entertainment.

The new episodes follow a human boy who is transported into the digital realm and must team up with the Digimon in order to protect the earth from destruction.

Saban Brands acquired the franchise in 2012 and has since seen new episodes air with Nickelodeon and The CW in the US, CITV in the UK and YTV in Canada.
