Cartoon Network dances to Beat

Cartoon Network has acquired the South African cartoon series Jungle Beat for its feeds in Japan and Latin America, while Disney and Nick have taken the toon in Asia.

Disney Taiwan, Nickelodeon India and B Channel in Indonesia will also air the 26×5′ series, produced by South Africa’s Sunrise Productions.

The non-dialogue toon features a cast of animals who find themselves in unusual situations and has now been sold to 200 territories.

Broadcasters including France’s Canal+, Sweden’s SVT, Norway’s NRK and Italy’s Rai. Ireland’s Monster Entertainment handles sales and a third season is currently in production and will be available in stereoscopic 3D.
