Antena 3 ties knot with Danish format

A Spanish broadcaster has picked up rights to Danish dating format Married at First Sight from Germany’s Red Arrow International.

The Spanish show, titled Casados a Primera Vista, will air on Atresmedia Televisión-owned Antena 3 in Spain, produced by local prodcos Big Bang Media and Boomerang.

The social experiment series, originally made for Danish public channel DR3 by Red Arrow-owned Snowman Productions, sees six single people with failed love lives each marry total strangers at first sight.

The format has been sold to broadcasters including A+E Networks in the US and CTC Media in Russia. Territories airing the US version include Germany and Scandinavia.
