Warner Bros boards Nokia mobiles

NEWS BRIEF: Warner Bros Digital Distribution is pre-loading content from its Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera cartoon series plus movies like Superman Returns onto Nokia mobile phones.

Some of the US studio’s biggest entertainment brands will be immediately accessible to consumers in select Europen and Asian markets with Nokia handsets featuring the company’s embedded ‘content discoverer’ portal.

Warner Bros will gain its own ‘storefront’ within this portal, from which it will offer images, ringtones, games and video clips based on some of its most popular output. The company hopes that consumers will use this mix of premium and promotional content to personalise their mobile phones.
