Travel Channel uncovers Buried Worlds

Paranormal travel series Buried Worlds with Don Wildman

Discovery-owned US cablenet Travel Channel has ordered Buried Worlds with Don Wildman, a series that explores supernatural phenomena around the world.

The show sees Wildman venture into remote regions in countries including Peru, Haiti and Bulgaria to investigate stories of ghosts, demons and witches.

The series is made up of seven hour-long episodes with a two-hour season finale and is produced by Red Arrow-owned Karga Seven Pictures.

Liz Massie, Sarah Wetherbee, Kelly McPherson, Emre Sahin, Jason Wolf and Chris Bray exec produce, with Erin Comerford-Rubin serving as co-exec producer.

Wildman said: “Buried Worlds is a quest that flips the switch on the paranormal and the supernatural and sheds new light on the dark origin of legends and myths. I investigate those legends and myths first-hand, travelling to their sources in some very surprising places.”
