Super Wings lands in Germany

Super Wings! focuses on creative problem solving and diversity

A broadcaster in Germany has picked up animated preschool series Super Wings, a coproduction from the US and Asia.

KiKa has come onboard the 52×11′ series alongside South Korea’s FunnyFlux, Chinese animation studio QianQi, South Korean educational network EBS, CJ E&M and New York-based Little Airplane Productions.

The toon features an aeroplane named Jett who solves problems as he travels around the world delivering packages to children.

The show’s curriculum focuses on issues of creative problem solving and cultural diversity. The characters visit 52 cities in 45 countries over the course of the series.

Brand management firm M4E holds the licensing and merchandising rights to Super Wings in German-speaking territories.
