Highly anticipated around the world and starring Oscar® winner Jennifer Connelly alongside Tony Award® winner Daveed Diggs, this epic dystopian thriller reimagines Director Bong Joon Ho’s (Parasite) acclaimed film of the same name. Set in a stunning, futuristic world more than seven years after a climate catastrophe turns Earth into a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer takes audiences on the ultimate journey of survival.

This riveting story centers around the remnants of humanity, trapped on a gigantic, 1,001-car, perpetually moving train. As they circle the globe, conditions vary for Snowpiercer’s citizens depending on the section of the train they inhabit and their ticket class. At the front end, Melanie Cavill (Connelly) works as the enigmatic Head of Hospitality and speaks as the “Voice of the Train,” heard across all of the cars making daily announcements and speaking on behalf of the train’s reclusive, legendary owner, Mr. Wilford. But when a strange incident on the train requires a serious investigation, she must work with Andre Layton (Diggs), the leader of the train’s stowaway class, the “Tailies,” who have been forced to live in terrible conditions at the back of the train.

Through the course of his work, Layton will start to uncover some of Snowpiercer’s biggest secrets, which will embroil its warring classes in a high-octane fight for power and survival. Adapted by Graeme Manson (Orphan Black), Snowpiercer explores the globally relevant issues of climate change, income inequality and social injustice against the backdrop of a wild, action-packed ride. It is currently in production on its second season, which was commissioned prior to its first season premiere.

This series is also available in UHD.
