Inspired by a true story. Vicky (Nicholle Tom) is looking for something more out of her life when Casey (Adam Mayfield) is transferred to the jail where she works. As Assistant Director of Corrections, Vicky is in a unique position to offer him special treatment. As Vicky and Casey develop a romantic relationship, they soon begin plotting his escape. Once on the run, though, things don’t go as planned: Casey seems desperate to check in on an ex-girlfriend that he attempted to murder, while Vicky desperately clings to hope that Casey actually wants to be with her. Not long into Vicky and Casey’s escape, the police are closing in. Once caught, Vicky decides to go out in a blaze of glory, eventually shooting herself.
